Ann. B. Ross Takes Tryon!

The author of the hilarious Miss Julia series will be at the Tryon Fine Arts Center on Wednesday, April 23rd at 2:00 pm to read from her new book Miss Julia Pains the Town and answer your questions. Punch and cookies will be served after the program. Mrs. Ross will sign books. The Book Shlef will have books to purchase and will donate 10% to Outreach.

Tickets are $15 for general seating.

BMW Charity Golf Classic
May 15-18th

Bright's Creek, Thornblade, Carolina Country Club

$25 ticket gets you in to three courses on all four days of the event. 100% ofticket price will benefit Outreach. You can order your ticket by calling Cynthia Terwilliger at 894-2923, buy them at the Thermal Belt Outreach office, or from Outreach volunteers.

The BMW Charity Pro-Am, which will be played May 15-18, 2008, is the only tournament on the Nationwide Tour where amateurs and celebrities are grouped with Nationwide Tour professionals in a three-day better-ball competition. Amateurs, celebrities and pros rotate between each of the three courses on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with the 14 lowest scoring pro-amateur/pro-celebrity teams advancing to play Sunday's final round. Amateurs and celebrities compete for individual prizes as well as cash donations, which are awarded to The South Carolina Charities, Inc., charity of their choice.
