Thermal Belt Outreach provides services to Spanish speaking residents of Polk County. Latin Services Coordinator, Guadalupe Limon, works with our neighbors by; translating letters, accompanying people to doctor's appointments, interpreting for parents at schools, and social services appointments.
Latino Services are during regular office hours and by appointment. If you or someone you know needs help in understanding what services are available to them through Outreach and is not comfortable speaking English, please let them know that we have a Spanish speaking staff member.
A quarterly newsletter, El Portavoz Hisapno, tuconctacto informativo Partrocinado for Thermal Belt outreach is produced quarterly. The newspaper's mission is to inform the Hispanic community about the important events and services offered in Polk County, to encourage active participation in the community.
